This photo I saw a few weeks ago really affected my way of thinking. (Regarding vegetarianism)
I realise it's just two people in this big world but I can't help but categorise all meat-eaters and vegetarians into this comparison.
Yesterday morning when I was preparing my lunch I noticed a salmon's head in my fridge. My mom had bought a whole one because our family often eats it for sashimi or grilling, etc. It made me feel ill, and at dinner time when there was some at the table it was incredibly hard to bring myself to eat it. But it was Wednesday and my mom expects me to eat meat so I just gulped it down. I do like salmon, and eat it frequently, but it made me wonder if a person was to see the dead head of a cow before they received their steak at a restaurant, they'd be inclined to be turned off completely.
Now I'm off to eat some potato salad, felafel and peaches. :)
