Wow, August just isn't my month

The one minute detail that is going well for me happens to be a bit personal, besides I'm not sure if it's actually successful.. but if it is, I will no doubt elaborate in the near future.

This weekend I worked 2 late night wedding shifts and came to the conclusion that (I've always kind of known this) I don't ever want to get married unless I am almost unstably obsessed with my partner. Monogamy makes me queasy.

I've been having a pretty horrendous week but am hoping that it's just that, an off weekkkk. 

Anyway, here's a photo of how I wish my hair always looked like, my mom's friend's russian/chinese/french baby and a wedding cake from work.

I'm not crazy about my work weddings but this one was so legitimately nice. There was macarons and caramel swirls at the candy bar, vintage candles and bird cages, off-white and tan decor. AHHHh <3

Lux (Lisbon) and (Joaquin) Phoenix

Jess/Jinky got me two canaries that are sooo coooot.

I called the yellow one Lux because it's blonde and the other Phoenix, not because it's a bird but because I told myself I'd name my first pet after one of my favourite bands.

Besides that, I am so so sleepy but have all this homework to do.

I can already forecast that the rest of the night will go like so:

* Get more tea

* Eat the chocolate Nina gave me

* Try and fail to do a bit of homework

* Fall asleep

Yesterday I got the worst stomach ache ever and I started to freak out thinking I may have gotten appendicitis like G when we went to Japan.

I went to bed thinking my stomach was going to explode and woke up with a hurting but bearable stomach in the morning. Clearly my pain threshold is still as bad as it's always been.

I cannot stand when you're trying to recall the name of an actor and you have the perfect image of him in your head and even remember the sound of his voice but it doesn't really help the situation because no one can read your mind. Ha.

My pretty fruit antipasto plate, and then it's remains after I demolished it. I have a feeling the pit of my stomach is just acid right now. E's new pupwa Daisy that clearly laps up the attention. Everytime I said 'Daisy' she'd go still and upright like she was posing.

Today, being the lazy person that I am, skipped my afternoon tutorial, bought some candy and came home to go and watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes with Ken. I really liked it, and thoroughly enjoyed the fact that over 8 years the ape dramatically ages yet James Franco and his gf remained their same hot selves.

Hahaha, yeah then I got a falafel kebab and Ken got a hot dog. (eeew)

I've been in a good mood the past 2 days don't know why but I think it's better not to question it otherwise it may just pass as quickly as it came.

I really adore my uni candy shop, it's heaven and a burden.
